Full Product Description

Daktarin Cream is a clinically proven antifungal treatment designed to clear fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis).

Athlete’s foot commonly causes itching, redness, cracking and flaking skin, particularly between the toes. Daktarin Aktiv contains miconazole nitrate, which targets the fungus responsible for the infection while helping to relieve uncomfortable symptoms.

It can also be used for other fungal infections of the skin, including:

• Fungal infections in skin folds
• Ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Infected nappy rash (under medical advice)

The tube is ideal for treating larger areas or for longer treatment courses.

How It Works

Daktarin contains miconazole nitrate, which works by damaging the cell membranes of fungi. This stops the fungus from growing and spreading, helping clear the infection at its source.

It also helps relieve associated itching and irritation, improving comfort during treatment.

Directions for Use

For external use only.

Adults and children:

• Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.
• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
• Gently rub in.

Continue treatment for at least 2–6 weeks depending on the infection and for 10 days after symptoms have cleared to help prevent recurrence.
