Imodium Original Capsules are designed to provide fast and effective relief from short-term (acute) diarrhoea.

Diarrhoea can disrupt your daily routine and cause:

• Frequent loose stools
• Urgency
• Abdominal discomfort

Imodium Original works to slow bowel movements, helping restore your body’s natural rhythm and allowing you to regain confidence quickly.

Suitable for short-term diarrhoea, including traveller’s diarrhoea and IBS-related diarrhoea (previously diagnosed by a doctor).

How It Works

Imodium Original contains loperamide hydrochloride.

Loperamide works by slowing down the movement of the intestines, allowing more water to be absorbed from the bowel. This helps stools become firmer and less frequent, reducing urgency.

Directions for Use

For oral use.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose stool.
• Do not take more than 6 capsules in 24 hours.

If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, consult a healthcare professional.

Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.

Do not exceed the stated dose.
